Dubai Ranked as The Cleanest City in The World

Dubai has once again claimed the coveted title of the cleanest city in the world, according to the latest findings from the Global Power City Index. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the Emirate has held this prestigious position, reinforcing its commitment to cleanliness, sustainability, and urban excellence.

Outranking over 47 cities across the globe, Dubai received a perfect 100 percent satisfaction rating for its city cleanliness. This achievement highlights not only the city's world-class infrastructure but also the tireless efforts of the more than 3,200 cleaning engineers who are part of the daily cleaning operations that keep the city pristine.

Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed, shared a post on X following the news: “Cleanliness is a cornerstone of civilization and culture, and it stems from faith. Proud that Dubai is not only the cleanest, but also the safest and most beautiful city in the world. Let's work together to keep it safe, stable, and prosperous.”

This achievement aligns with the Dubai Integrated Waste Management Strategy 2041, which aims for an 18% reduction in waste production and 100 percent diversion of waste from landfills by 2041.
